Republicans in Congress have once again refused to fund lifesaving gun violence research – and we know it’s because they’re in the pocket of the NRA and the gun lobby. For more than two decades, the GOP has barred the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from this critical funding at the cost of our communities and the lives of our loved ones.
