Washington Gov. Jay Inslee just introduced a new labor rule that gives overtime benefits to all workers who make up to $70,000 a year. When this rule goes into effect, we will see that everyone in the economy benefits from an overtime threshold change. We need you to show your support now.

In 1970, 62% of all salaried workers enjoyed overtime benefits. Now, that number is closer to 7%, with the average salaried worker working 49 hours per week. That means every four workers are doing the work of five people – and not getting paid for their work while losing out on time with friends and family.

Employers are squeezing workers, but we have an opportunity right now to make sure workers get paid for the work they do. That’s why we need 50,000 fired-up grassroots supporters like you to show their support for this rule and create the momentum for nationwide change.
