Signatures needed to protect reproductive rights: Stop Trump’s dangerous gag rule!
The Trump administration is launching a blatant attack on health care providers like Planned Parenthood through a new regulation: a domestic “gag rule” that will deny Title X funding to any clinic that provides abortion care or related counseling.
Under the gag rule:
- Health care providers will be prohibited from discussing abortion with their patients.
- Patients will be at risk of not receiving complete and accurate information about all of their health care options.
- Clinics will suffer financially and even be forced to close – risking the overall health care including primary and preventive treatment of four million people.
We’re witnessing the worst threat to reproductive care in modern history – and a dangerous attempt to roll back the human rights we deserve.
