If we’re going to end gun violence in this country, the time to act is now.
And one of the commonsense things we can do, right now, to prevent the type of violence we saw in Las Vegas is ban the sale of these so-called “bump stocks” that are being used to convert a semi-automatic rifle into an almost fully automatic machine gun.
These bump stocks enabled the shooter in Las Vegas to kill at least 58 people and injure hundreds more in just minutes. And to prevent such a tragedy from happening again, Democrats across the country have stepped up and introduced a bill that would ban these types of conversion kits and help save lives.
Tell Republicans in Congress: It’s time to put aside our politics and pass this commonsense measure. It’s time to ban the sale of bump stocks and help save lives!
