Two years ago, a shooter opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, killing 17 students and educators, and wounding another 17 more.
Since then – two painful years of inaction – the Senate has yet to pass any kind of legislation that will save the lives of students and teachers and prevent another Parkland shooting from happening.
