Tell Congress: Stop school shootings!
Constant school shootings should not be the norm in our country. Yet, there have been 417 school shootings since Columbine. This reality is unacceptable for our children, and Congress has yet to take meaningful action.
Congress can pass common-sense gun violence prevention legislation that can help stop school shootings – like an assault weapons ban and expanded background checks. We need them to take action, not just offer up thoughts and prayers.
That’s why we’re urging 5,000 people to join our call before 11:59 p.m. tonight: Sign the petition and tell Congress to stop school shootings.
