Tell Congress: Protect Dreamers

President Trump recently announced his decision to end DACA, the program that protects nearly 700,000 Dreamers from facing deportation. These young people were brought to the United States as children, through no fault of their own. They’ve grown up in our schools and neighborhoods. And they’re working alongside us, paying taxes and contributing to our economy.

To send them away from the only country they’ve really known isn’t just wrong – it’s against our values as a nation. And it doesn’t make economic sense, either: Kicking Dreamers out of the country could reduce economic growth by hundreds of billions of dollars in the next decade alone.

Right now, Congress has the chance to find a legislative solution that will secure long-term protections for those protected under DACA. It’s long past time for comprehensive immigration reform, and now is the moment to act.

Add your name to tell Congress: It’s time for a legislative solution to protect Dreamers.
