Tell Washington: Act NOW to protect DREAMers

Trump’s move to end DACA was a cruel, pointless decision made by a president with no soul. But it wasn’t the end of the road. We still have a chance to protect undocumented youth and make permanent the program that allows them to stay in the U.S.

Congress still has a few days left to provide a legislative fix to the xenophobic mess Trump created. But they’re dragging their feet, and we have to push them. Californians know true leadership is empathic and open-minded – so let’s show them how it’s done and demand they follow suit, before nearly 700,000 Americans (including almost 223,000 Californians) are deported to places many of them have never known by a president who doesn’t care about them.
